Mary Roach

We have been taking a break this summer, but before we started vacationing, Mary painted this delightful picture of poppies.  Georgetown has adopted the poppy as it's official flower, and they can been seen in all their radiant glory in the spring all around town.

Rooster

Mary Roach has created this wonderfully expressive rooster.  He is whimsical, yet has an attitude.  I love him!

Lindsey Catherwood

Lindsey has quite a flair for the dramatic don't you think?  She took this painting of a leaf that I salvaged from the trash at the art studio at Sun City and reimagined it as a collage.  Love it!

Ginger Catherwood

We are experimenting with the early techniques used by Kandinsky  - black underpainting, big bold shapes and
brush strokes, layers of color.  I love painting this way - you sort of get to be a kid again!

Mary Roach

This is Mary's 2nd painting - ever!  I love it.  There is so much freedom of movement and experimental color.  She is really embracing painting with so much joy - it makes my heart sing.
